i've walked through fields of lavender. in burgundy. endless hills of purple. maybe i still carry their scent. maybe you can smell them on me over the distance.
perhaps that's it. i like it. it suits you, all lovely and elegant.
i took my niece to a field of sunflowers recently, we picked some for the house but they don't have a fragrance that distinctive. it's more like taking a piece of the sun home.
we are acquainted though i find myself in the company of nursery rhymes more often than not. i understand you though. how do you feel about them on a good day?
